How do I stop being someone's Primary Designee?

You may decide that you no longer want to be the Primary Designee for a DocuGuardian member.  If this is the case, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your DocuGuardian account.

2. Click on Shared With Me to see the Member cards of those members whose invitations you have accepted and who have currently shared documents with you:

3. Click the 3 dots on the right side of the Member card:

4. Select Opt Out as Designee:

5. Confirm your choice in the Opt Out Confirmation screen:

6. The DocuGuardian member who requested you as a Primary Designee will receive notification that you have Opted Out as their Primary Designee.

7. If you are not a DocuGuardian member you will be logged out upon Opt Out confirmation and no longer have access to your Primary Designee account.

8. If you ARE a DocuGuardian member, you will no longer see the Member information or files of the member that invited you as Primary Designee.
