How do I update my Primary Designee’s information?


To update your Primary Designee’s information, please follow the steps below:


  1. Log in to your DocuGuardian account.


  1. On the left hand side of the screen, click the My Contacts menu item and then the click on the Primary Designee info card:


  1. This will open a panel on the right side with the Primary Designee’s details:


  1. Then, click the Edit Designee button at the bottom in the right side panel:


  1. Edit the contact details you wish to change and then click Save Changes:

NoteYou cannot change First Name, Last Name or Email Address


  1. You can also view all the files you are currently sharing with your Designee.  Click Shared Files and then click the vault(s) in which the shared files are located:


  1. You can also view or edit any notes to the Designee profile by clicking Designee Notes and clicking Edit Note:

  1. Edit or add a Note and then click Save:
