What is "Additional Verification"?

Additional Verification is an optional security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your account settings.

When enabled, you will need to enter your password and a two-factor authentication code before making changes to the following:


  • Disabling the Additional Verification feature

  • Changing your password

  • Changing your saved payment method

  • Changing your two-factor authentication method


To enable or disable Additional Verification:

  1. Log in to your DocuGuardian account.

  2. In the menu, select My Account & Settings.

  1. Click the toggle for Additional Verification to turn it on and enable the feature:

  2. While toggled on, you will be prompted for your password and verification code when interacting with any of the specific settings that were mentioned earlier.

  3. For example, when turning the Additional Verification feature off by toggling the switch.  Once toggled to off, you will receive this initial verification screen.  Enter your password and select Continue:

  1. Next, you will need to enter a security code to be entered into the Disable Additional Verification Screen:


WITH EMAIL VERIFICATION ENABLED:

Enter the code sent to your registered email address and select Confirm:


WITH AUTHENTICATOR APP VERIFICATION ENABLED:

Enter the code sent to your registered Authenticator App and select Confirm:
